Event Type: Campout

This is the annual Wetwesties campout at the Quarry Pond camp site at Deception Pass State Park on Whidbey Island. The State Park is about an hour South of the Peace Arch border crossing, so really easy if you are coming from that direction. And about an hour forty minutes North of Seattle if you are coming from that direction. Anyone with an interest in VW camper vans is welcome (you don’t have to own one to come).

The official State Park policy is not to allow doubling up so it is good to reserve. Remember to select a site in the QUARRY POND loop on the East side of Highway 20. Jet noise from the navy base can occur but has not been an issue in the last few years.

The Pot Luck is Saturday. The food line starts at 5 PM (sunset is 5:30) so you will want to set up before then. Bring a dish of your choosing and chairs. There is a shelter. You may want to bring a folding table. Campfires are OK. Power is available.
